Travel Tips 101: ‘Jewel of India’ Itinerary + Tips

Well, I’ve been asked time and time again … {sigh} It’s really not-all-that-exotic and alien.

It’s just Incred!ble India

and frankly that’s where ALL the fun begins … and never leave you for a lifetime.

With India, you either HATE it or LOVE it; no two ways about it. This in itself is an important caveat. I am sharing my quick-and-dirty past itinerary with some contacts and tips covering the ‘Jewels of India’: Agra (Taj Mahal of course!), Delhi, Jaipur and Jodhpur for all those that have requested.
{ Although technically Agra is situated in Uttar Pradesh and both Jaipur and Jodhpur are in Rajasthan, many people will for a matter of simplicity term this circuit as ‘Rajasthan’. }

  1. this girl always complain to me about difficulty getting backpacking partners, but i think it must b the reverse…..LOL LOL LOL. "penni's" definition of backpacking is too abstract for the common people to adopt…lol.

  2. ktx, that's Penelope's idea of backpacking when it comes to the hotels. lolOn a serious note, is it a standard expectation in terms of pricing for something decent?

  3. nur-al-sikkim when i come back lah – must be tried and tested mah – with all the permits tips. :)i ate lays (soooo cheap!), kit kat and tropicana orange juice for breaky on the train. i think there's a photo of me somewhere with all the masasla lays to spite Val (her favourite food – not even snack! FOOD)hotel rates? aiyoh share share split between tiga orang mah. only here we can live like a maharaja.

  4. huh? huh? huh? what happened to nur-al-sikkim? lol. i took the early morning shatabdi express from DEL-AGR which served makan too. it's memorable. but yr hotel rates have juz made me distant myself from u a little …lah. lol. so kelasss wan.
